Possible Sharp Family Lineage
for
Texana Sharp Reece
Note that there is no “e” on the end of the name. I have seen it spelled Sharpe and Sharp.

Some birth years where the date is not specified are from the Census records.
Some Sellers info obtained from documents as noted or from

com/th/read/SHARP/1999-12/0944720844 From: Keith Alan Sellers <ksellers@primeline.com>

Two pages
(1) (2) of a Group Sheet was sent to me. It was prepared by Dr. Robert J. Medford. I mailed
him twice, both inquiries were returned. He may have died. I used some of his information, but with
extreme caution, because there was some misinformation on those sheets. I do not know his sources
and I have corrected what I could prove.
The following information is not in the
printed copy of the Reece Family
History.

I have taken this path in order to try to

Sophia Irene Wines.

Annie is listed in1900 living with two of her grandchildren (Paxton) and having been the
mother of 9 with 6 living.  Two of the children must have died between census periods.

We last find Annie in 1910 living with a maid, Hattie Parrich and the maid's son, Lonnie.  She
is 88.

They have been married 26 years – which would make their wedding ca. 1874.
It says Mary had 9 children and 8 are living.

Floyd and Charles are out of the home. But Mumford (20) is still there as well as a sister
(Emma) who is 17; and Grover who is 14; Killian (?) is 12; Anna E  is 9 and Fannie  is 7. By my
count that is 8 children.

She got married well before Texana was born (1876-77) so I do not think this sister is Texana’s
mother.
